Why did I start FABA Foundation?

The pain and emptiness I felt after losing two friends to suicide is a feeling that I can’t describe to anyone. Knowing that there are so many people, no matter their age, race or gender going through the hurt of being bullied and abused every day. People walking in a world not being noticed or heard, people bullying others because of the hurt and confusion they are dealing with and not having someone to talk to. Not having that person that cares and want to help. People taking their lives for they feel it is the only way out.

During my Mr South Africa journey, I knew that I had the perfect platform to make an even bigger difference, the platform to start a foundation that is close to my heart. Have a foundation where people can learn, be educated and know that they are loved. A foundation where people understand and know what you are going through. To be there for you, help you and guide you through your struggles and connect you with the true potential that is inside of you so that you can become the person that you are destined to be.

Let us live for each other and not against. All of you are unique and have a place on earth. Dream big and strive to make your dreams a reality. With FABA you have a home, a family that understands an knows your hurt and we are just a click away. Be the difference you wish to see in the world, there is a HERO inside us all. It is time to stand up and speak out
